Streber PM is our favorite Project Management tool, its free, its open source and its based on PHP y HTML (with few ajax things).

We use it all the time managing all our projects. It's a great software, easy to use, easy to install and manage.
As you know all open source tools don't fulfill all of your needs but they provide a good starting point.

Streber is one of these tool and our team decided to add some extra features that we want to share in order to enhance and contribute to this great tool.

This is a list of things that we've improved to feet our needs:

• Enhanced Milestones View: show total task, pending approval, percentage in numbers.
• SWF embed support: since we're a flash development company.. we use the same technique to embed images for SWF content.
• Display External Image: if you place an external link to an image we display it, not just the link.
• Column ID: added the ID is an UID unique identifier so you might know it.
• Gantt Chart Support:  Since gantt is a powerful graphic to display project schedule we made a custom flash widget that display all tasks within milestones in a interactive gantt chart. It allow you to relocate or edit the timeline by draggin the task inside the chart. Also provide a vertical milestone indicator bar. I order to clarify the primay goal. Also provide priority, bug and completion indicators.
• Customized theme: we added shiny icons and a grey theme in order to follow or CI.
